Exons:
Bits of information for using the MUSC Shared Resource,
the BioMolecular Computing Resource (BCR).

Exon_53 Running Ilya Vakser's GRAMM (Global RAnge Molecular Modeling) 
program  at MUSC.


MUSC users with access to Xserver software on their PC/MACs may configure 
their MUSC network accounts to run GRAMM. STANDARD telnet connections to 
the BCR machines will allow access to GRAMM. 

GRAMM reads standard PDB format files and writes output to UNIX text files.

Users will have to add the following line to their .cshrc file:

setenv GRAMMDAT /usr/common/bcr/

After adding the above line to ".cshrc", logout and login again. At that point 
typing "gramm scan coord" will launch the program and write docked coordinates
to a named file. The manual is available  GRAMM .

GRAMM reads three input files which must be supplied and edited (see
the manual for examples) prior to use.
